PROMOTE AWARENESS TO HOST FUNDRAISER

 

PROCEEDS FROM THIS EVENT WILL HAVE AN IMPACT ON PEOPLE WHO HAVE A DISABILITY ACQUIRE ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY FOR HOME OR SCHOOL.

Minneapolis ----- On Tuesday, October 5, 2004, Promote Awareness, a local not-for-profit organization, will host a concert with the band Lemon Trophy top 40 rock. In addition a raffle for a variety of fun prizes will be held at this event.

Promote Awareness creates educational materials and programs to promote the abilities of people with disabilities. Since its inception in 1997, the organization has conducted lectures and seminars at local and national conferences and produced two educational videos and literature. In January we will be kicking off a grant giving program. This program will help people with disabilities acquire Assistive technology.
